- Nylon 6 is synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of caprolactam. It is also called as Polycaprolactam , Polyamide or PA 6. Caprolactam has 6 carbon atoms in its chemical structure, hence 'Nylon 6'
  
  Nylon 66 is made from polycondensation of adipic acid with hexamethylene diamine. In the process, Two monomers containing 6 carbon atoms each are combined to form Nylon 66 which has 12 carbon atoms
  
  ABS is a terpolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. The styrene gives the plastic a shiny, impervious surface.
  
  Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) is a thermoplastic engineering polymer that is used as an insulator in the electrical and electronics industries.
  
  Polypropylene (PP), is a thermoplastic polymer & most widely used commodity polymer around the world. NEXT POLYMERS compounds & manufactures various injection molding grades of PP.
  
  Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), a synthetic resin produced from the polymerization of methyl methacrylate. A transparent and rigid plastic, we specialise in making it in transparent and translucent color shades.
  
  Polycarbonates received their name because they are polymers containing carbonate groups .PC is produced by the reaction of bisphenol A and phosgene.
  
  Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is an organic polymer consisting of aromatic rings linked with sulfides. PPS is formed by reaction of sodium sulfide with p-dichlorobenzene.
  
  To attain properties of both PBT and PET in balanced proportions, they are combined to form PBT/PET alloys.
  
  To attain properties of both PC and ABC in balanced proportions, they are combined to form PC/ABS alloys. This gives a huge variety of properties that can suit a wide range of applications.
